Exemptions
ICAP offers following exemptions to the International and Local Accountancy Bodies:
- Candidates who have successfully completed professional Stage of ICAEW (UK) are exempt from the Foundation & Intermediate Stages plus Advanced Auditing Paper of Module E.
- Members of the following bodies are exempt from all the papers of ICAP:
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia
- The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland
- Candidates who have successfully completed all examinations of ACCA, CIMA and AICPA will be exempt from the Pre-Entry Proficiency Test and Foundation and Intermediate Stages of ICAP.
- Candidates who have successfully completed all examinations of ICMA (Pakistan) will be exempt from the following:
- Pre-Entry Proficiency Test
- Foundation & Intermediate Stages
- ICMAP 3 Parts (Pre Jan 1995 Syllabus) or ICMAP Intermediate/Part II (Pre December 1998 Syllabus) or Professional I (Post Dec 1998 Syllabus) passed students will also be exempt from PPT
- Candidates who have successfully completed all examinations of PIPFA will be exempt from the following:
- Pre-Entry Proficiency Test
- Foundation Examination except requirement for satisfactory completion of course of Computer Practical Training of 90 Hours
