Special Exemptions to New Students
 
Exemptions to HSC
 

Students who have passed their HSC (Intermediate with Commerce, Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical or Arts) would have the option not to attend Module "A" classes provided they have obtained minimum 70% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 60% marks in the relevant subject(s). Further benefit of exemption from specific paper(s) of Module "A" examination will also be available to a student provided he/she has obtained a minimum of 75% marks in a particular subject(s) of Module "A".

 
Exemptions to A' Level
 

Similarly students who have passed their 'A' Levels examination with minimum two B's and have minimum of C in relevant subject may opt not to attend the classes of Module "A". For these students exemption from Module "A" relevant paper is also available, provided they have obtained a minimum 'B' Grade in that subject.

 
Exemptions to Graduates
 

For Graduates (with four years study program from Pakistan or three years study program from foreign accredited university) and Post Graduates, there is a similar provision whereby they can benefit in Modules "A" and "B". These Graduates / Post Graduates can avail exemption from specific papers of both modules if they have minimum of 70% marks in relevant subject.

 
Note
 

All the above mentioned exemptions from classes or examination paper(s) will be approved by the Institute after receiving an application in this regard and examining each case. While granting exemption from specific paper the Institute will also evaluate whether the course content of the subject for which exemption is sought covers at least 70% of the syllabus as prescribed by the Institute from time to time.
